It has been my experience that development and establishment of the procedures, forms and tools can enhance the potential for success considerably. During laboratory research, the development of specific appropriate forms can serve as an additional check that all data was collected. For example, in cooking turkeys to determine the affect of feeding yellow peas, the placing of spaces for initial body wt, pan weight, initial cooking time, final cooked weight, final cooking time, pan cooked weight, and so forth will quickly highlight the missing data.
