A research project consists of addressing many many details. Following are a number of thoughts regarding that.
Some researchers approach planning a research project using the scientific method. This is considered by some to be the eptiome of validity. However, the scientific method is not the final arbritartor of the planning and research accomplishment.
One of the first step in planning, after selecting the research topic, of an experiment is defining the purpose. Generally, this takes place in several steps. These are discussed throughout this site.
