Funding Resources and Information to Top

Funding of all research projects must come from some place. Generally, application to agencies, organizations, and companies will be the driving force for deviation from the NFM Proposal Guidelines. proposals may be submitted to your faculty mentor for funding within an existing project, to several College or University opportunities or they may be submitted to another outside funding agency. If you are the faculty you must pursue funding through private or public funding. Although the local OSU Research Office(a second page is available)has developed a number of links to funding resources, there are a number of other opportunities. Each student should be aware that there are several different nuances to obtaining funding depending upon the targetted opportunity. These may be summarized as:
€government agencies
€companies
€foundations
€professional organizations
€social organizations
