Citations and Bibliograph to Top

There are a number of citation methods. It is critical that you select the correct type. Hard Copy Citations

It is important to understand that each discipline has their premiere journal or organization that generally has a set of guidelines for citations. One should obtain the latest version and put all references complete using the style. Best of later intentions do not work.

Electronic Citation

The University of Vermont has indicated the APA and MLA citation format for electronic materials. Remember, it should be fully cited. It becomes particularly critical in these times of transient electronic pages. If you are doing a research project of some duration, it may be of particular importance to fully cite it and print a copy as well for final check of information. Remember, if you can not fully cite the materials you likely should only use it for background material.
