Skillet Meal

1/2 cup chopped onion 1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup chopped green peppers 1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening 2 tablespoon flour
1 lb ground beef 1 tablespoon water
2 cups whole kernel corn 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
a can tomato soup (10.5 oz)

Place onion, green pepper and shortening in skillet and cook over low flame for about five minutes, stirring occasionally. add meat and brown well. Add corn, soup, sugar, and salt. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Stir in blended flour, water and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for a few minutes. Serve with hot French bread. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
