RECIPE 120  PATTY CAKES

½ cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 ½ cups "Fisher's Blend Flour"

2 ½ teaspoons baking powder

 ½ cup milk

½ teaspoon vanilla

Cream and butter and sugar until very soft.  Add the well beaten egg yolks.  Mix and sift the flour and baking powder and add alternately with the milk.  Frlavor and beat until very light, then fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.  Bake in buttered gem pans in a moderate moven, until they shrink from the sides of the pan. 

   Serve plain or frosted.  Are especially good if split and Chocolate Jelly Filling is spread between.
