1 Cook milk and flour until thick, stirring constantly.
2 Remove from heat and cool to below room temperature, stirring
occasionally.
3 Cream sugar and butter until it is real fluffy.
4 Add flour mixture, very slowly- 1 Tbsp. at a time. Beat well
after each addition.
5 Spread frosting between layers and on top and not on
sides.
6 Keep cake in refrigerator. Will stay fresh for a week if
Waldorf Astoria Cake.
