Marketing
Promotion of food products may be approached through advertising or through public relations endeavors. One of the best initial overviews can be gotten though looking at various print, digital, and sound media. A review of coupons gives some indication of the effectiveness. Advertising and public relations do differ in their "approaches" and "outcomes". With advertising one decides upon their approach and pays to have it placed when and where one wishes. Public relations is a much more "iffy" proposition in food products. A public relations firm must put together materials that "make" food editors and others want to use it to "hawk" a product.
