A synthetic flavoring agent isolated from geranium rose oil. Odor of roses. Used in strawberry, chocolaqte, rose, grape, honey, spice, and ginger ale flavorings for beverages, ice cream, ices, candy, baked goods, gelatin desserts, chewing gum, and jelly. No known toxicity.
