is crispy shreds of wheat fried in butter, drenched in hot syrup, cooled, garnished with chopped nuts, and served with cream or kaymak. An imitation of this classic dish may be made from leftover bread, crisply fried then served with syrup, nuts and cream. This is called ekmek.
