is a beverage made of carbonated water, a flavoing, and an undissolved lump of ice cream. It is generally named for the flavoring used, though fanciful names are sometimes coined to match complex constructionsl;. Both a spoon and a straw are required to deal with a soda, since it is both eaten and drunk, and it is usually served in a ten-ounce glass, though paper cups are now coming into commercial favor because of their sanitary feature.
