I know that crispy rice treats should be one of the simplest things to make, however I can't get it right. Can you help me?

Even when I make crispy rice treats, I use a tested formula, so I can maintain my high standard every time. The following formula yields one large sheetpan.
Crispy rice treats

Ingredients
MetricLbs.ozs
Butter or margarine 100 g. 3.5
Marshmallows, large 1.36 kg.
Crispy rice cereal 550 g 3 3.5
Peanut butter 150 g 5.25
or M&M or chocolate pieces, optional.
Total appr. Wt. 2.16 kg. 6 12

Method: Melt the butter or margarine and marshmallows over low heat. Add the rice crispies, stir until well distributed and press into a prepared sheet pan. Cool lightly, and cut into desired portions.
